WAHM Bluebird does nothing!

Standard

I stayed home all weekend, home, in the house, here! This weekend while listening to general conference — a bi annueal conference of our church broadcast on TV, radio and Internet. I was able to get a few things done — find the kids fall clothes, take a nap, bake some brownies, wear my jammies for 18 hours, things busy women never get to do — it was great!  I know there is a lot of craziness going on in the world but am a WAHM, a work at home mom, I don’t usually have time to just do what I want to do — I know people may think WAHM’s have it all . . . we do . . . but we don’t get to do it all.  Mindless things out of the focus of a strategic plan . . . no business involved . . . just listening to edifying counsel, and doing little chores while it rained.  How fun and unusual is that?  Any other bluebird sisters find time to do the same thing this weekend?

  1. I was forced to take a break this past week when my internet went out (gasp!) for the entire day. Since I couldn`t research my articles or work on my blogs, I spent the day playing with my boys, doing crafts and cleaning the house.

As a fellow wahm, I know how hard it is to find balance!
